This week it's not just one coach that deserves the honor it's the WHOLE ENTIRE STAFF.
Aplington-Parkersburg took a small step forward last Friday night with their defeat of Dike New-Hartford without Ed Thomas on the sideline for the first time in 34 years. The Falcons defeated DN-H easily on NATIONAL TELEVISION (ESPN) 30-14.
With all eyes on the Falcons ball club last Friday night they honored their former coach the best they could, by playing football and winning.
This week's KCCI's High School Playbook "Coach Of The Week" doesn't go to just one coach, it goes to the WHOLE staff of Aplington-Parkersburg.
