Anytime you can rush for over 200 yards in a game, at any level, it is considered a career game. Friday night against North Mahaska, in the "Wild Card Game of the Week" the 300 yard mark was in sight.
Mike Long, running back for BGM, Brooklyn has had some HUGE weeks the past couple of Friday nights. Just last Friday, Long took control of the game vs. North Mahaska while it was still in the balances.
Long rushed the ball 35 times, for 300 yards and 3 touchdowns! The big, hard, downhill runner made North Mahaska defenders miss all night on his way to a HUGE game.
For his efforts against North Mahaska, Mike Long of BGM, Brooklyn is this week's KCCI's Iowa Beef "Athlete Of The Week."
