Marshalltown did all they could to spoil senior day on July 8th in Des Moines against Lincoln. For awhile it looked like that would be the case as the Bobcats took a 4-0 lead in the 1st inning after some shaky pictching from Joel Pulliam. The Railsplitters managed to march back and take a 1 run lead with some clutch hitting before Tyler Peschong hit a solo homerun for Marshalltown. Going into the bottom of the 6th inning Lincoln trailed 5-6 until the hot hitting Curtis Quijano hit a game winning 2-run homerun to give Lincoln the 7-6 victory heading into substate against the 33-0 Johnston Dragons on Friday.
