St. Edmond host Pocahontas Area/ Palmeroy-Palmer in 2A distric semifinal. The Gaels had control the first four innings. St. Edmond had a 10-0 lead going into the fifth until the Indians mounted a comback, scoring two runs in the fifth, one run in the sixth and two more in the seventh. It was not enough however as the Gaels maintained the lead and eventually won 10-5 moving on for a chance at substate.
